We booked Shane’s cabin on a whim & it has been one of the BEST Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. It was clean, private & Shane’s directions made it easy to find. I would recommend taking a 4wd to get to the cabin, but it’s well worth the bumpy road! The cabin has a unique A frame layout and it was perfect for our 2 person stay. Our only regret was only booking for 2 nights! Hoping to come back during the summer months!

What a beautiful home! We had a very relaxing stay. Shane was an excellent host! His responses were always fast and friendly. The house is as pretty in person as it is in the pictures! The house was super clean and had all the amenities listed. There is another Airbnb very close to the front of the house, but the backyard and hot tub felt very private. Our dog loved the dog bed and got a lot of use out of it. Thank you for hosting us Shane!

We spent Thanksgiving at the cabin. It was a near perfect retreat. Follow the directions in precisely…it can be a little confusing, but definitely worth the journey. Well-equipped, cozy,..just a fun interesting place. Beautiful design, warm & welcoming.

Shane’s cabin was amazing. By far the best cabin we have stayed in at the gorge….and we have stayed in a lot. It was spotlessly clean and they thought of every little detail that a guest might need. I loved the A-frame architecture. You truly felt like you were in a modern tree house. The location was a quick drive to all of the Gorge restaurants and popular hiking trails. I never want to stay in any other cabin at the Gorge, it will be our go-to from now on.

Shane’s place was the perfect home away from home for our family trip to Red River Gorge! The location was ideal — just minutes from local favorites like Toads (live music Saturday night was awesome) and Daniel Boone Coffee(with gift shop), and close to incredible trails. We especially loved exploring Auxier Ridge/Courthouse Rock and Copperas Falls during our stay - such great diversity between the two trails, which even included Nada tunnel en route to Copperas Falls! The home itself felt modern amidst the rich history of the Gorge, and was spacious and comfortable for our family — including a toddler, infant, and dog. Our toddler is already asking when we can go back to the “star house”! The thoughtful touches — like the dog bed and bowls — made it extra welcoming. The arcade games and shuffleboard kept us entertained, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day on the trails. Parking was easy, and directions were great. We truly loved our stay - great for the RRG!
