We stayed at Shane’s place for 5 nights. This home is very clean, good condition, and fairly close to hiking at both Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone Forest. The cellular service in the area was surprising excellent. GPS to the place was not accurate but Shane’s instructions were clear. My husband is not a big Air B&B guy, more a hotel guy who I drag around hiking and he commented how nice this location was with the big windows and lack of clutter. This house can easily fit 8 people even tho it was only the 2 of us and our dog this would be great for a larger crowd with a sectional both downstairs and upstairs. We appreciated the dog bowls and dog bed. The washer and dryer was very useful tho I recommend bringing a small pack of detergent pods with you since you will need them. An AWD or 4WD is a MUST. My Audi handled it well but the road is gravel and steep, especially the driveway at the end. An overall very pleasant stay.

The house was great and the location was perfect. Perfectly located for the Bourbon Trail, Keenland or exploring Lexington. The House is spacious and has a lot of gathering areas and a great kitchen. Perfect for Labor Day weekend family gathering.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful modern A-frame! The space was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The host was excellent to work with—responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved the arcade game and shuffleboard table, which made our evenings extra fun. Everything about the cabin felt thoughtful and well cared for. We’d love to come back again!

Lisa’s place is an absolute gem. Her remodeled older home in Versailles has so much character, and the location couldn’t be better—easy access to Lexington, Midway, and Georgetown. The bathrooms are amazing, the kitchen is top notch, and the whole house just has this cool, welcoming vibe. What really stood out though was Lisa’s communication—hands down the best I’ve ever had on Airbnb. She makes you feel completely at home, and even little touches (like making sure we had an iron—thanks again!) didn’t go unnoticed. There isn’t a single reason I wouldn’t book here again. If you’re on the fence, just do it—you’ll be glad you did. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

We had a wonderful stay at Drop Red GORGEous. The cabin was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a stress-free stay. Shane was a fantastic host — very responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even smoother. He was available for any questions and made sure we had what we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful spot in the Red River Gorge. We had a great time and could definitely see ourselves coming back in the future.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at this Airbnb. The location is fantastic to walk to restaurants and pubs. There was live music just outside our door. Additionally, we visited 2 distilleries within a few miles. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful updates on an old building! Directions for parking and how to get in were great and detailed! Clean with extras such as shampoo,toothpaste, and toothbrush a nice added touch.

Awesome place. There’s a lot to do in the area, bars restaurants and quaint shops are all walking distance. Buffalo Trace being 1.5 miles away is super cool as well. The house is beautiful and the amenities were awesome. Everybody in my group loved the place, we all really enjoyed our stay. There was more than enough room for our group of 12. We are already planning our next stay. Shane was easy to work with and very responsive.

Great for our bourbon trail stay in Frankfort. Walkable to great restaurants...Serafini was wonderful! And have a drink at House of Commons, its beautiful! Nice to have a designated parking space behind the apartment. Large bathroom with soft fluffy towels!

Gorgeous house in a central location to Lexington and Frankfort. About 20 minutes or less from a lot of distilleries and horse farms. Our family felt very at home and comfortable. Lisa was a great host, always responded quickly and even checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything. Our kids loved the enclosed yard and swingset too. There was even some sweet treats waiting when we arrived! Would definitely book again if we go back to Kentucky!
